Diagnose & Align Sprint

Know what's actually wrong before you spend a year fixing the wrong thing.

The Diagnose & Align Sprint is a three-week engagement that gives your leadership team an evidence-based read on where trust, communication, and accountability are breaking down — and an aligned plan for what to do about it.

Most transformation work fails before it starts.

Not because the plan was bad. Because the plan was built on assumptions.

Someone in the room says "it's a communication problem." Someone else says "it's accountability." A third person quietly believes it's one specific manager. Everyone nods, a six-figure initiative gets scoped against the loudest theory, and eighteen months later the same symptoms are back.

The Sprint exists to end that argument with data.

Three weeks. Three phases. One clear answer.

Week 1 — Listen

Structured leadership interviews and an anonymous full-team survey. We talk to the people who see the problem from different altitudes, and we ask the questions people don't volunteer answers to.

Curiosity Before Certainty.

Week 2 — Analyze

Culture and communication review. We look at how information actually moves through your organization versus how the org chart says it should. Because Evergreen is a collective across six disciplines, the diagnosis isn't shaped by whichever specialty happens to be in the room.

Evidence Before Intervention. See the Whole System.

Week 3 — Align

A half-day working session with your leadership team where we present findings and drive to a shared read of the problem — not a consultant's verdict handed down, but a conclusion your team owns.

One Team, Shared Outcome. Candor With Care.

Deliverables, not a slide deck you'll never open.

  • Executive findings report — what we heard, what the data shows, and where the two disagree
  • Scored assessment across Trust, Leadership, Communication, and Accountability
  • Prioritized risk register — the three to five things most likely to derail you in the next twelve months
  • Recommended path forward — scoped, sequenced, and honest about what you can do internally versus what needs outside help

That last point matters: if the report says you don't need us for the next phase, the report says that. Build Capability, Not Dependency.

Half the fee is credited toward a pod engagement started within 90 days of your alignment session. If the Sprint leads to deeper work, you've already paid for part of it. If it doesn't, you still own the report — which is the point. The diagnosis has value whether or not you hire us again, and a 100% credit would say otherwise.

This is a fit if:

  • You have between 50 and 750 people and a leadership team that isn't reading from the same page
  • Something is measurably off — turnover, missed commitments, decisions that don't stick — and the diagnosis is contested
  • You've been burned by a consultant who arrived with the answer already written

This isn't a fit if:

  • You already know the problem and need execution help — go straight to a pod engagement →
  • You need a single trainer or facilitator for a one-off event
  • Leadership isn't willing to hear findings they disagree with

Why you can take this risk

We'll put it in writing.

If the findings report isn't grounded in what your own people actually told us — the interview themes and the survey data, cited and traceable — you don't pay. Full refund, and you keep the report.

We can make that offer because the Sprint isn't a framework we're applying to you. It's a read of your organization, built from your organization's own words. If we can't show you where a finding came from, we haven't done the work.

The Sprint ends with a decision, not an upsell.

Most clients do one of three things: run the recommendations internally, bring in an Evergreen pod for the Transform and Sustain stages, or fix one specific thing with one specific expert from our network.

All three are fine outcomes. The Sprint is the first two stages of our four-stage framework — Diagnose and Align — productized so you can buy small before you buy big.

Frequently asked

How is this different from hiring one consultant?
A single consultant brings one lens. Evergreen is a collective spanning six disciplines, so the diagnostic isn't shaped by whichever discipline the person you hired happens to practice. You get a read on the whole system rather than the part your consultant is trained to see.
How long does a Sprint take?
Three weeks from kickoff to the alignment session. The only variable is scheduling — interview availability across a leadership team is usually the constraint, not our work.
How much of my team's time does it take?
A single 60-minute interview per leadership team member, 15–20 minutes for the anonymous team survey, and a half-day alignment session with your leadership team. Beyond that, the work is ours. The alignment session is longer than a typical findings presentation on purpose. We're not reading you a report — we're working your leadership team to a shared conclusion in the room. That's the Align half of the Sprint, and it's the part that doesn't survive being compressed into an hour.
Do you work remotely or onsite?
Remote by default. We're a distributed collective — working across locations is how we're built, not a compromise we're making. If you want the alignment session run in person, we'll quote travel and a facilitation day separately. Everything else in the Sprint is delivered remotely.
What does it cost?
$12,500 for organizations up to 250 people, $18,500 up to 750. Fixed fee, fixed scope. Half the fee is credited toward a pod engagement started within 90 days.
What happens to the findings? Who sees them?
The executive report goes to whoever you designate. Individual interview responses and survey answers are never attributed — that's the only way people tell you the truth.
Can the Sprint lead into a longer engagement?
Yes, and often does. But it's scoped as a standalone deliverable. You are not signing up for phase two by running phase one.

Stop debating the diagnosis.

Three weeks from now you could have an aligned leadership team and a scored, evidence-based read on what's actually happening in your organization.

Fixed fee. Fixed scope. Delivered remotely.
